Pay it forward - Period pants
Period poverty affects 1 in 10 people with periods in the UK.
A study by Plan international in 2017 found that 1 in 10 people with periods aged 14 to 21 can't afford to buy menstrual products. 49% of people with periods have missed a day of school due to their period and nearly half were embarrassed about having periods.
Our pay it forward scheme means that by purchasing a pair of zero waste period pants from Thinx, we can donate a pair to someone in need.
This product is a donation to someone effected by period poverty.
For each pair of 'pay it forward pants' you buy we will donate a pair within 30 days.
These period pants are donated to Exeter's St Petrocks charity that helps local people suffering from homelessness and who are vulnerably housed Find out more here
