Pay it forward - Period pants
Period poverty affects 1 in 10 people with periods in the UK.
A study by Plan international in 2017 found that 1 in 10 people with periods aged 14 to 21 can't afford to buy menstrual products. 49% of people with periods have missed a day of school due to their period and nearly half were embarrassed about having periods.
Our pay it forward scheme means that by purchasing a pair of zero waste period pants from Thinx, we can donate a pair to someone in need.
This product is a donation to someone effected by period poverty.
For each pair of 'pay it forward pants' you buy we will donate a pair within 30 days.
If you are in need of a pair of period pants but can't afford them, please get in touch with us by emailing Olivia at Olivia@sanchosshop.com and we will be in touch.
The two Thinx I got for myself make me soooo happy, I am even happier I payed one forward for someone else.
Very happy to support this initiative. Well done Sancho’s!
