Tartan Blanket Co, was founded by Edinburgh couple Fergus and Emma. They have two partner mills, one in India that uses 100% recycled materials and provides jobs and support to a community of women who finish the blankets by hand. The other in Inner Mongolia that sees traditional people-led farming methods and animal welfare put first. All the dying, spinning, weaving and finishing is then completed by members of the local community, giving end-to-end transparency and control. These materials are then combined with traditional Scottish designs with a twist for a truly unique product.
