Green and Brown Amaru Scarf

Amaru, a shortening of Amarech, means 'She blossomed' or 'She became complete'.

This scarf is made on a wooden loom - the women who make it press the hand-spun cotton through the bamboo teeth of the loom. After almost three hours, they create this delicate and intricate scarf.

What is it?
  • Handwoven Ethiopian cotton
  • Soft interlacing fabrics
  • 90% undyed - you can still see the natural cotton hues in the scarf!
  • Length: 160cm by 40cm

Care: best hand washed, however you can also run an eco-wash at cold temperature
