Godfather Card

The Godfather card is a hand made illustrated design which is apart of the folklore series inspired by wonderful stories and poems from around the UK.

On the back of each card is a small story which matches the beautiful drawing.

More than just a card this is perfect as a gift, either as a print or personalised as a card for a loved one or even kept as a present for yourself. 

Writing on the back of the card;

A Father was searching for a Godfather for his new baby. As he was looking he was approached by God and the Devil. However, he decides to reject them both as they treat the poor terrible and help the rich. Then along came Death and he tells the Father that he treats everyone equally. Because of this, he became the boy's Godfather.

As the boy grew older, he was given a gift of herbs to use when he became a famous physician but was warned to not heal patients belonging to Death.

The King's daughter was ill and the boy decided to defy Death and heal her. Death was not pleased and decided to take his life. The boy pleaded for his life to be extended but Death told him he treats everyone as equals. 

Made from recycled paper with a kraft envelope.
