Baxter Wood : Recycled Outerwear

Baxter Wood is an American brand founded by Kweku and Sarah in 2018 after they witnessed the amount of unregulated plastic waste during a trip to Ghana, West Africa. Inspired to take meaningful steps to combat this, they decided to take post-consumer plastic bottles and planet friendly materials to make their fully waterproof Unisex Trawler Raincoats and natural-rubber rainboots, like these White-Sole Hevea Chelsea Boots in Black. With each raincoat diverting 22 bottles from landfill, all while creating a functional and timeless piece you or your loved ones will reach for every time it rains, we think one of these makes the perfect Christmas present for that special someone.

Manicure You : Toxin-Free Nail Varnish

Manicure You was founded by Nicola in 2018 in London. Nicola started with an aim to offer luxury with affordability and was passionate to create a product that is inclusive for all skin tones, toxin-free and healthier for your nails. Alongside an inclusive range of neutrals, Manicure You also offers gorgeous fashion-led and seasonal colours. The formulas are free from the ten major toxins found in regular nail polish, and the precision brush and high shine will leave you with a professional looking finish. The perfect stocking filler or gift for a friend, the only trouble you’ll have is choosing from our great range of colours!

Our Lovely Goods : Soy Wax Candles

Our Lovely Goods founders Ebi and Emmanuel wanted to create their business as an extension of them and their home. Believing home should be a safe, relaxing, and nurturing environment, they embarked on creating luxury scented candles and skincare to help cultivate just that. Inspired by their Nigerian Heritage, delighting the senses, gathering family, and having a laid-back approach to life is the common thread running through everything they do. With candles such as ‘A Quiet Moment,’ ‘Sunday Morning,’ and ‘The Old Library,’ these gorgeously scented candles make a great gift, giving the receiver a sense of comfort and calm. All the candles are made in small-batches using eco-friendly cotton wicks and 100% natural soy wax, and their skincare lines are natural, too, so these luxury-feeling gifts don’t cost the earth.

      Tanaka: Soaps
Tanaka was founded by Leonara Manyangadze in 2019. Tanaka is a Zimbabwean Shona name meaning ‘we are good,’ which is the driving mission of Leonara’s brand. Making bars of soap that help benefit skin health as well as boost mood, they also reduce plastic waste, and are wrapped in compostable Glassine-Paper. Tanaka bars are made with a unique blend of butters and oils so they are moisturising, and only contain natural ingredients such as Spirulina, Pink Clay and Charcoal, making each bar suitable for different skin types. With formulas rooted in nature, the bars are processed using the cold method and then cured for 6 weeks. We think these make a great stocking-filler, token gift or secret Santa as they look and smell great as well as being a useful present.

 Liha : Candles & Skincare
Liha beauty was founded by Liha and Abi, two university friends who wanted to create natural skincare that mixed their African roots with a British attitude. It is a Nigerian tradition to learn the making of beautifying oils, soaps and lotions from the nuts, tree bark and plants that are in abundance as a young woman, and with an English aromatherapist mother, Liha wanted to combine the two disciplines. While Abi was travelling the world as an athlete, she would collect ingredients, including Nigerian Shea, and so, Liha the brand, was born...Creating luxe, organic and vegan skincare and the beautifully scented Queen Idia candles that represent female empowerment and are made with a coconut wax blend, cotton wicks and reusable glass containers, why not treat someone to the Discovery Gift Set which combines the two, or pick up a candle for a stocking filler that will bring a sensory delight to your recipient.
