Dear Customer & Community Members
I am writing today to let you know that after much consideration we have decided to take a year long sabbatical from our physical shop in Exeter. In Thursday's blog post you will find an outline why we have decided to do so and what you can expect from the year ahead (our website will remain operational).
Gratitude
However the most important thing I’d like to convey is our deep gratitude for your support of our business and journey up until now. Thanks to all our amazing customers, Sancho's has been able to provide sustainable fashion to its community for more than 5 years at 117 Fore Street! I am so deeply grateful to you and will be for all of my life for the enthusiastic way in which you have gotten behind the business.
What's Next
And I’m pleased to say although we are taking a break this is definitely not the end of Sancho's journey into slow and sustainable living. Our mission to make sustainable living choices easier is unchanged and will continue over the coming decade not least with our AI powered resale platform in OWNI but also in the future of Sancho’s. In fact there are many projects we wish to bring into fruition with key partnerships built this year. A resting period will allow us to do just that. think open learning, a wellness center, modular clothing , solar panel subscriptions & more .
But for now it's time for us (Kalkidan and Vidmantas), the owners of Sancho's, to take a break. After working so hard for so long, we're going on a one-year sabbatical to rest, develop our sustainable resale platform OWNI, to travel and to learn how to be even better advocates for the planet.
Sabbatical Sale
To celebrate making this decision to prioritise our rest and to sell our current stock we’re having a Sabbatical Sale and a month's worth of events in our 117 store! As our way of saying thank you for being part of Sancho's community, you can enjoy unbeatable discounts on sustainable fashion all month long.
We hope you can join us one last time in-store or online in the sale! And then we hope you stay with us throughout the year as our journey develops online.
